Doctor Who: The Complete First Series
When I started watching Dr. Who in the 1980's the local PBS station was showing the 4th Doctor, Tom Baker. I am a really big fan of Tom's Doctor, K-9, Nissa, Adric and the many other characters of the 4th Doctor's era.
While I enjoyed the escapades of the other Doctors, I lost contact with the series sometime after Peter Davison took over. I never thought that anyone would be a better Doctor than Tom Baker.
Now, while I can't say Christopher Eccleston is a "better" Doctor than Tom, he certainly makes the role his own while paying due homage to the past.
Billie Piper as Rose is really a fan favorite among the companions.
I certainly recommend Dr. Who: The Complete First Series as a must have for any Dr. Who fan. If you are not a Whovian you will become one by watching these episodes.
