The 4400 - The Complete Second Season

Normally, abduction stories don't really interest me. However, when the SciFi Channel began its original series The 4400, I decided to give it a try. I usually like the shows with Peter Coyote.

The stories revolve around the investigations of two NTAC (National Threat Assessment Command) officers. Tom and Diana delve into the crimes committed by and against "The 4400." The 4400 are a group of people abducted by future humans over the last 60 years and returned to the present, en masse, for some unknown mission.

There's Maia, a child abducted in 1938, brought back with the ability to see the future.

Then there's Richard, a pilot abducted during the Korean war and Lily a wife and mother abducted just a couple of years ago. They are drawn together seemingly by Richard's love for Lily's grandmother, to whom Lily bear's not only a striking resemblance to, but also carries her name. When Lily was abducted she wasn't pregnant. When she came back she was. Her child is Isabel.

There are many other stories. The 4400 has really caught my attention
