Popeil Showtime Rotisserie Platinum Edition

My wife and I saw the Showtime “Infomercial” for the original rotisserie on late night TV and became very interested. A few weeks later we saw it again and decided to order it.

When we go it, it came with a recipe booklet and instruction booklet. We took it to my mother-in-law’s house so she and my wife could figure out how to use it. It is not hard to use, but anytime they get something new they like to try it out together.

They cook a 3-4 lb chicken (I don’t remember the exact size). They followed one of the recipes in the booklet. It came out juicy, tender and delicious. It has to be the easiest rotisserie to use.

I have used it to cook sausage on the skewers. Add a little barbeque sauce, set the timer and wait for the bell to ring.

Ours has the mechanical timer, this new one has the digital timer, but either way you can just “Set It and Forget It.”
